Luther was born into a family of minor imperial nobility with a proud tradition in the empires knightly orders. An early illness left him unable to carry the traditional gear of a knight but he was not willing to become a priest or a student. Instead he travelled to Tablenhiem to join the Mymidian Knights of the Verdant field, who required different strengths in their initiates. To everyone surprise Luthur found was naturally talented in archery and woodcraft although he found the condensation of the members of more traditional orders difficult to bear. Essing preformed well in several skirmishes against beastmen and bandits but has spent most of his time in the order guarding the walls of Talenhiem. Recently he has asked for and received permission to set out on a traditional Myrmidian pilgrimage travelling all over the Old World to hone his martial and tactical skills and to glorify Myrmidia and his order. He has decided to return to Riekland to visit his familly and begin his journey in familliar territory.


Luther Essing is a slight dark haired man of average size dressed in unremarkable woodsman’s leathers and carrying a well made longbow. In more formal settings Luther proudly wears a knights tabard displaying the crests of his family and order.
